Boodle BrigadeExpress Your Gratitude to an American Soldier

The Deacons would like your help in providing a package of goodies or boodle for an American soldier serving overseas.

We will adopt a soldier through an organization called "the Boodle Brigade". There is a box in the narthex labeled SOLDIER (BOODLE BRIGADE) to collect your donations for our soldier. There are handouts next to the box of suggested items to donate. Examples of items on the list are: puzzle books, Frisbees, crackers, trail mix, and toothpaste. Don't forget to include cards with words of encouragement and gratitude for his service to our country!

We are trying to get a box together to send prior to Easter, so please prayerfully consider donating some "boodle" for our soldier!

Thank you,

The Fairview Deacons

Easter Blessings for Homeless Moms and Children

Fairview will be providing Easter baskets for homeless women and children that will be staying at the Family Promise Salt Light Center during the Easter holiday! At a time when their lives have been turned upside down, these women and children will know that they are loved by God and by their brothers and sisters in Christ. The Salt Light Center is operated by Family Promise and is an overnight shelter for homeless women and children. If you would like to help out, please purchase any of the items from the list below and place them in the box labeled "Easter Gifts for the Salt Light Center" in the narthex. Feel free to be creative in your purchases. Donations should be returned by Sunday, April 9th so we can prepare the baskets for delivery before Easter Sunday!

Thank you and have a blessed Easter the Missions Committee
